Parents Hire their Chidren for Senior Care Services

You or your spouse is spending a lot of time taking care of the elderly parents, causing stress in your relationship and is one factor leading to the divorce.  Consider having the parents sign a contract with you for your care services.  This can help them and you get paid for your valuable help.  Even though you would take care of them for free, this might be the best paying job for the economically disadvantaged spouse going through the divorce.

Living Together, Marriage, and Then Divorce

Researchers now say that married couples who live together before marriage are 50 percent more likely to get divorced.  They tend to have a
“renter’s agreement” philosophy that makes them less committed to sticking together through hard times.

Female Breadwinners

Does this term sound familiar?  You are a mother of two young children and he says he wants a divorce after your 12 year marriage.  He is jealous of your success and angry that you spend too much time at work and travel too often.  Meanwhile, you are frustrated that he hasn’t been able to stay employed the last 6 years and the family has to rely on your income for the primary support.
